Experience Dominica – The Nature Island: Dominica Vacations | Exotic Vacations | Honeymoon Destination

Dominica weekly is a personal weblog about the nature island of Dominica.

Caricom Flag Cricket fans who are preparing to come to the Caribbean are being warned to avoid a bogus website which has been set up by an unauthorized company. Investigations show that the bogus website, which uses the .com extension instead of the official .org associated with CARICOM IMPACS, was set up more than a year ago.

“This site purports to offer, among other things, the CARICOM Special Visa, which can only be applied for at the official website. The fact is the site is nothing more than a way to draw surfers to other attractions and thus make money on our heads,” says CARICOM IMPACS Media Consultant, Julian Rogers.

CARICOM IMPACS is responsible for the security arrangements committed to by host countries, who have created a single domestic space from January 15 to May 15 2007 and to facilitate hassle-free travel, a special CARICOM Visa is being issued that will provide immigration officials with the authority to stamp passports at the first point of entry and then monitor further movement with the submission of ED forms at other ports of entry.

Information Notice:

Cricket Fan from the designated countries outside of the Caribbean Community will need to apply for their special visas by filing online at:www.caricomimpacs.org or Contact: Rose Blenman, Caricom; rblenman@caricom.org
