Enjoy De Real Mas 2007 everyone! Carnival Monday 2007 is finally here, and people are lining up the sidewalks of Roseau and around Dominica to get a glimpse of the traditional Carnival Monday parade. The overcast sky made the atmosphere ideal for un-watchers, parade participants, and the many Dominicans who returned home to join in the action.
Its been a few years since I lasted watch a Carnival Monday Parade, usually I’m too tried from jumping jouvert or if not I’m working on the morning of the parade. This year I am able to post some of highlights from the parade… hope you enjoy!

this years carnival was great!!…the carnival queen winner and the junior calypso monarche and the princess show winners deserved their crowns …..but i won’t get into the topic of the Calypso monarch and the teenage pageant winners!!!……..our carnival was simply the best!!!! 🙂 😆
