Seven beauties from various parts of Dominica will be competing for the converted title of Miss Dominica 2011.
The contestants are (left to right) are Ruth Augustine (Kingshill), Jacintha Fagan (Checkhall), Nasha Faustin (Morne Prosper/Citronier), Cornillia Hazel (Goodwill), Michelle Joseph (Morne Bruce), Roselia Bazil (Capuchin), and Earlene Labassiere (Goodhope/San Sauveur).
The Miss Dominica 2011 Pageant is carded for March 4th.
Who will be the next Carnival Queen of Dominica? Your guess is as good as mine.

I’ll tell you as an artist who tries to create beauty every time I write a song or paint something in a way that has not been portrayed before………….similarly, these women will present the show judges with the same challenges and that is……….How do you select the best from the best?
In the final analysis each contestant will be assessed and their talents scrutinized…………….and like each and every one of you I will also develop my choice for my favorite contestant………..!
Let me add if I may though that each contestant should be showcased on Facebook so each of them have an equal opportunity for discovery.
The point is first make it fair and secondly keep it fair.!

I had the fortunate pleasures of meeting miss Ruth Augustine on my holidays down at Donkey beach,DA…What a fun kind friendly intelligent open minded young lady she is..Such a sense of natural beauty…I think with her brilliance she has a very high chance of being the next Miss Dominica…I place my votes and wishes her all the very best and to the other contestants…They all look so wonderful…May the best one wins!!
