Yesterday I picked up all of our Carnival Tuesday T-shirt band gear from Kairi Fm-’The Genuine Sound of Dominica’. This year Liuda and I have joined Dominica’s number one party band Swingin Stars - MARDI GRAS MADNESS Carnival Tuesday T-shirt Band. Last year we stand and watch all the bands pass us by, this carnival Tuesday it’s all about “More Fete and Less Twaka” which means more reveling and less problem.
We decided to join the Mardi Gras Madness because the band is usually not overcrowded and getting to the drinks truck for a drink is not that difficult unlike some of the more popular T-shirt bands on the road. We plan on spending more time enjoying our carnival, not getting drinks from a truck.
