Ramblings From The Nature Paradise of Dominica

Last night, as listen to the Calypso semis on the radio, I couldn’t help to think about how hard it is to be in the creative industry in Dominica. Not too many people can conjure up the creativity that Dice and Earl Ettienne producing art and music time and again.

Are we supporting these artists? If we’re not purchasing original copies of their work then we are not rewarding these Artists. Carnival organizers and people who seriously invest in creativity to decorate our floats, beautify our nation and make entertainment an enjoyable experience. This should serve to uplift us and encourage us to reward those who have the creativity to do so. I can’t stop a nation from thinking and making choices, if they’re not willing to support thoughts that will advance themselves and their country….. Its starts with each one of us…..lets support our different Artists, because they are playing a significant part in the livelihood of all Dominicans…at home and overseas.
