Exactly one week ago was the grand opening of Dominica Carnival 2008 opening parade through the street of Roseau. Now one week lately it’s the city of Portsmouth turn to launch their carnival with an opening parade along the Michael Douglas Boulevard and through the street of Portsmouth. Over the pass years, Portsmouth Carnival opening has developed into one of the better carnival openings around Dominica, which draws thousands of revelers from all over Dominica to join in the opening parade.
