You will be amazed to know amount Google search queries made for “Dominica Flag”, people are slowly learning about Dominica and what makes the island so unique. Thats a clear indication that Dominica is slowly becoming one of the better tourism destination is the Caribbean.The colors on the Dominica flag say everything about our beautiful island.

The flag of Dominica was officially adopted on November 3, 1978. The yellow represents the original inhabitants, black the fertile soil, and white indicates the pure water. The centered stars symbolize the ten island parishes. The Sisserou Parrot is indigenous to the island.

In many ways I’m happy that Dominica is beginning to get International exposure, which will benefit Dominica’s economy greatly. But do you know what I like most about Dominica – EVERYTHING 😀 . Do you agree? Lets hear it.

I know what the green represents, but for some reason you have not apprised your readers about the green.
