It was very interesting all of the awareness that Rosalie Sea Turtle Initiative, ROSTI , was doing to educate the locals about these amazing Leatherbacks. We were even lucky enough to go out at night to stay with the men while they patroled the beach so no one would interfere with the turtles coming up to lay their eggs. This resort will be a fine resort when it is completed, they have had many challenges to overcome. Even if the resort isn't open when you visit Dominica there are so many things the island has to offer it is very diverse and the people were very nice. I hope to return to Dominca very soon. The diving is GREAT! However, if you go to dive, take time to see the inland part of the island, the forests are amazing. If you are planning to drive, note the roads are very narrow and you must be a very laid back person. If you get nervous easily DON"T DRIVE. Your visit will be much more enjoyable if you plan ahead and do some homework. There are many people who have land for sale, you can find them online and you can get a wealth of information from them. Go to Dominca and enjoy! Keep up the great work ROSI!
