$300k for housing in Grandbay

OAS Head Retires

Head of the Organization of American States in Dominica announces his retirement. Paul Brown has held the position for 27 years. He said he was retiring because he was asked to do work he didn’t want to do.

AID Bank improvement

The Aid Bank has noted improvements in finances over the last year, with a net profit of over EC$1 million, up 18% on the previous year. Prime Minister Skerrit also spoke at the AID Bank’s AGM, urging people to pay their loans, saying defaulters hurt its operation, and impacted upon taxpayers.
