Ramblings From The Nature Paradise of Dominica

Posted By: Chris A committee put in place to review the salaries of Dominican parliamentarians believes that their take-home pay should be adjusted. This Committee is headed by former parliamentarian Frederick Baron. The two other members are lawyer David Bruney appointed by the opposition party and businessman Patrick Pemberton appointed by government.

We all believe in a fair pay for a fair day’s work, but shouldn’t this committee make the same recommendations to all the Public Service workers, who I have worked in the development this country. The increase to the MP Salary is well justified, but yet the Public Servant worker salaries only see a decline over the past years.

Isn’t the PM a Public Servant Too?
