Ramblings From The Nature Paradise of Dominica

Tourism Minister Yvor Nassief told the press that the time has come to challenge that cycle. Minister Nassief explained:ďż˝? With an uncompetitive product you have low demand and with low demand you have low occupancy, low profitability which comes right back to lack of investment in product. So one feeds on the other and is locked in the cycle,ďż˝?

Dominicans I believe are welcoming the Tourism Master Plan, in which Minister Nassief is staring this master plan in an attempt in making Dominica a more competitive Tourism destination in the Caribbean. The Minister stressed on the point of having enough hotel room occupancy and overnight visitors.

My question to Minister Nassief; how are these overnight visitors getting into Dominica? Seeing that Melville Hall Airport don’t accommodate night landing.
