Dominica Weekly - Tou Cho Tou Flam column spotlight is on the 2007 Digicel Rising Star winning Tarina Simon. Since winning the Rising Star competition back in November 2007, there has been much talk about Tarina’s success by many Dominicans home and abroad.

Our question to the Dominican masses, does Tarina have what it takes to be crowned the first woman Calypso Monarch in Dominica, or will Tarina just be another Dominican who was once loved and admired by many? The Calypso finals are just a couple weeks away and she’s yet to make a meaningful impact on the calypso scene. What’s your opinion is Tarina the Real Deal or will she end-up riding the Tou Cho Tou Flam train.? Let’s hear ‘em comments.
