Looks Like It’s Coming Straight At Us

I have been following Hurricane Dean since it was just a Tropical Wave off the African coast. Most Dominicans was hoping that hurricane Dean would change it’s course and head more to the northern direction of the lesser Antilles. But after looking at the satellite imagery this morning on the Weather Channel, there is a strong chance that hurricane Dean will affect us. If projections are correct we will face a CAT 1 hurricane, which is not so bad. As of 12:00pm today Hurricane Dean wind speeds had increase to 99mph. Like most Dominicans, I just have to wait to see what happens, and hope for the best.
