Royal Unibrew acquistion of these breweries in the Caribbean is a integral move to strengthen the Group’s malt position in the region and also contibutes to the company overall objectives and contitutes its focus on the Caribbean and Africa.

DBBL Technical Manager Kurt Eidenschink Says

“this change will also auger well for everyone as Royal Unibrew seeks to increase profitability within its acquistion…the existing local brands will be strengthened by the heightening of productivity through the aspects of purchasing, production, sales, marketing and distribution.”

To this Date Royal Unibrew owns

  • Dominica Brewery & Beverages ltd.(acquired share of capital and votes:58.4%)
  • Antigua Brewery Ltd.(acquired share of capital and votes: 91.7%)
  • Antigua PET Plant Ltd.(acquired share of capital and votes: 75%)
