Antigua and Barbuda to Benefit From Dominica Initiative

Antigua and Barbuda was among the destinations chosen by Dominica, renowned as the “Nature and Adventure destination of the Caribbean”, to launch its “Defy the Everyday Package.”

“Defy the Everyday” Adventure eco-programme is an initiative of the Discover Dominica Tourism Authority and gives travellers the opportunity to eco-explore and enjoy Dominica’s distinct natural bio-diversity and beauty from lush rainforests, cascading waterfalls, to pristine diving sites, breathtaking snorkelling and hiking just to name a few.

Steve Bornn, director of tourism and CEO of Discover Dominica Tourism Authority delights in saying, “We’re excited about this new programme, as it is expected to give high value of adventure and experience to travellers.”

In addition, Mr. Bornn noted that the tourism authority is encouraged by the avid support from Dominica’s tourism stakeholders and the mutual interest shown with the Trinidad & Tobago market. Travellers taking advantage of the package will be entitled to receive discounts up to 30 per cent off on tours and attractions, free round trip airport transfers, as well as low rates from the participating hotels such as; Castle Comfort Lodge; Chez Ophelia; Cocoa Cottages; De Champ; Evergreen Hotel; Fort Young Hotel; Garraway Hotel; Hummingbird Inn; Roseau Valley Hotel and Tamarind Tree Hotel; with tour partners JTAS, KHATTS and Wacky Rollers.
