Pat Aaron are among the Hall of Fame Inductees The organizers of the Dominica Calypso Hall of Fame say they are about to induct a number of deserving stalwarts and others they have decided need to be recognised for their contribution to the art form. They’ll be doing so at a function scheduled for Thursday evening (9th February) at the Fort Young Hotel. The Hall of Fame Inductees named are the Swinging Stars Band, calypsonians Clive Hurricane Jean Jacques and Vaughn King Shakey James, writer Pat Musician Aaron, and former Gaylords Power Union frontman and former calypsonian Gregg Breaker Bannis. The organizers say Hall of Fame Recognition Awards are also being made to recently deceased Urban Harrigan, Bernard Rabbit Alexander and Tasha P Peltier
The winner with Digicel support team Digicel Dominica made one lucky customer, Jacqueline St. Jean, very happy recently when she won over $3,000 worth of goods as part of Digicel’s Text-to-Win competition supermarket sweep.
