After a week of hearsay and waiting, opposition Earl Williams in a ten-minute press conference Wednesday told Dominicans that he accepts full responsibility for mistakes that were made in relation to certain activities pertaining to his legal practice, and that he has submitted his resignation to the United Workers Party as its leader.
It seems that Mr. Carlisle Jno-Baptiste and Speaker of the house Alix Boyd-Knight just can’t see eye to eye. During Thursdays parliament proceedings, Mr. Jno-Baptiste was once again ordered to leave the house of assembly until further notice by the speaker - who is also demanding a public apology from Mr. Jno-Baptiste.
