Shillingford Leeward Islands Cricket Association (LICA) President Gregory Shillingford has been clearing the air about his alleged involvement in the decision to move the third Test in the pending Digicel Home Series between West Indies and Australia from Guyana to Dominica. According to the Observer, his statement comes following calls from former national players, Zorol Barthley and Kenneth Benjamin, for Shillingford to demit office – they have accused him of not having the best interest of Leeward Islands cricket at heart. The former players argued that Shillingford should have ensured that the match, scheduled for April 23 to 27, was given to Antigua.
