Education Minister Peter St Jean is among those who will discuss a new and harmonized Common Entrance Examination for 6 graders in the OECS. St. Jean left stateside to participate in the 21st meeting of OECS Ministers for Education to be held in the British Virgin Islands from September 14th to 17th 2010.
Education Minister Peter ST Jean says a subvention is underway for Early Childhood facilities in Dominica. St. Jean told the Government in Focus programme on Kairi FM this week that the size of the subvention will depend on the population at the facility.
At its seventh graduation ceremony at the Windsor Park Stadium On Thursday 15th October 2009, the Dominica State College will record one of its highest numbers of graduates since its establishment in 2002. The theme for the ceremony is “Choice, not Chance, Determines Destiny.”
