Opposition leader Hon. Ron Green was a guest on the Hot Seat with Matt on Q95 on Thursday 25th September and addressed the issue of a large Billboard of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit at the Melville Hall Airport, which is currently the main port of entry into Dominica. Mr. Green expressed the view that the poster was not appropriate for welcoming visitors to the island during this 30th Anniversary Reunion Celebrations, in that it appeared to be Partisan and divisive.
He recommended several alternative photo images that might better convey the spirit of Unity. He stated that the Billboard should be removed immediately, if the labour Government wished to convey to all sections of the Dominican society that they were serious about uniting the Country during reunion 2008, which was being promoted under the banner “Celebrating the Journey Together”.
Ron Green was NOT on the hot seat ……… A tape was being played

I just find this is so stupid; for how many years now the UWP has not been able to get over their LOP (loss of power syndome) and attend Independence celebrations; This year someone whispered to them that it would be in their best political interests to attend, so they decided to do just that; Ron, doh come with this foolishness; Well educated and right thinking Domincans know better; This is only a political gimmick; The more issues you raise like this so-called “unity” thing, you figure the more souls you can win; But this will not work; some of us know what politicians like YOU are capable of.
lets for get politics and see why his has prob with the bill board of mr skerrits pic at the airport
