DFA President denies CONCAFAC misconduct

Chuck Blazer has told associations to pay back money Amidst allegations of possible bribes paid out to associations of 25 football territories in the CONCACAF, the Dominica Football Association (DFA) President Patrick John, in an attempt to eliminate suspicions, has stated that the association had no part in any of the alleged misconduct. The allegations, made by CONCACAF General Secretary, Chuck Blazer, suggest that the boards were paid the bribes by FIFA executive committee members Mohamed Bin Hammam and Jack Warner, after a special meeting in Trinidad. While John confirms that he himself represented the DFA at the meeting, he said, “The DFA was the only association to refuse Hammam’s proposals and the association has not received any such monies.” Five associations have told investigators that they rejected the offers of individual payments of $40,000 in $100 bills, while 13 Caribbean country football governing bodies, including DFA, have supported Jack Warner’s denial that any such offers were made to them.
