DPSU Thomas Letang raises Questions about the Current State of the Economy and says the Huckster Trade may No longer be the Great Income Earner that it Used to Be

Q95News - General Secretary of the Dominica Public Service Union, Thomas Letang says he believes that in order to determine the correct status of the Dominican economy, a number of issues need to be considered. He says although some persons may boast that Dominica’s economy is doing well, it is only by carefully analyzing questions related to employment, trade, availability of skills, and the manner of use of the resources of the country that can one determine the status of the economy. The DPSU General Secretary further questions the current status of the Huckster Industry. He questions whether or not this is still one of the top income earners for many Dominicans, as was the case in the past.
