DSC Graduates Largest Number of Students Since its Inception

At its seventh graduation ceremony at the Windsor Park Stadium On Thursday 15th October 2009, the Dominica State College will record one of its highest numbers of graduates since its establishment in 2002. The theme for the ceremony is “Choice, not Chance, Determines Destiny.”

There will be 283 students graduating from the four faculties:159 from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, 17 from the Faculty of Applied Arts and Technology, 36 from the Faculty of Education and 71 from the Faculty of Health Sciences.

In commenting on this number of graduates, President Hubert Charles said that “it provides evidence that Dominica State College continues to take a leading role in the preparation of our country’s human resources.” Director of Continuing Education at the DSC Mr. Merrill Matthew details what will take place during the ceremony and highlights the keynote speaker of the event.
