Germina Jno Baptiste – a new Dominican star shines
Germina Jno Baptiste (left) and Carolyn Brown of Hated 2 Death Movie. Germina Jno Baptiste who was born in Dominica Commonwealth heads the Hated 2 Death cast in a leading role as Princess. This is the first time any actress from Dominica plays a leading role on the big screen. Most actresses originating from Dominica have had only support roles; actors such as Herny Wilcoxon, who was born in Roseau Dominica in 1905, was the only male born in Dominica to have played lead on the big screen in Cecil B DeMille’s films, also serving as DeMille’s associated producer on his later films.
