Head of the UWI Open Campus Dominica, Dr. Francis Severin, has dispelled rumors that the University of the West Indies is an unaffordable institution suited for the elite in society. Dr. Severin, who was speaking at the opening of the 2-day International College Recruitment Fair yesterday, says UWI brings education to the nooks and crannies of the Caribbean. He says they provide an education which is fit for purpose and grounded in the Caribbean. He has urged prospective students to dispel these malicious rumors and call in to find out the truth and facts about UWI.
