Journalist Carlisle Jno-Baptiste banned From the House of Assembly - Unless He Apologies to the Speaker

caric

It seems that Mr. Carlisle Jno-Baptiste and Speaker of the house Alix Boyd-Knight just can’t see eye to eye. During Thursdays parliament proceedings, Mr. Jno-Baptiste was once again ordered to leave the house of assembly until further notice by the speaker - who is also demanding a public apology from Mr. Jno-Baptiste.

According to Speaker of the house Alix Boyd-knight, “I have no choice but on behalf of the chair and members of the house to refuse entry to Carlisle Jno-Baptiste until he makes an apology in an appropriate form to the Speaker and the members of the Honourable House”.

But Carlisle Jno-Baptiste has made it clear, that he has no intentions of submitting any sort of apology to the speaker of the house.

=====Personal Note=====

Why don’t the Speaker of the house and Carlisle Jno-Baptiste just kiss and make-up?

In my opinion Mr. Jno-Baptiste did nothing wrong to get himself banned from the house of assembly. In fact, the speaker should be the one serving up an apology.

Recently my friend and fellow blogger Danielle Edwards wrote an article titled: Why Women and Power Won’t Go Together – this situation is a typical example why I too agree that Women and Power will never co-exist.

Go ahead …have you say!
