Q95News - Former Tourism Minister under the United Workers Party, Norris Prevost stated that the most critical problem facing the Tourism Sector throughout the years, dating back to 1997, has been inadequate and uncompetitive air access into Dominica.
Prevost further says it was unfortunate that no progress has been made on this issue. He noted that although large amounts of money have been allocated and used for providing night landing facilities at Melville Hall Airport, this will not have any significant impact in increasing air traffic or competitive access into the island. Prevost offered his view on what he believes is needed to help boost the Tourism Sector.
