Prime Minister Skerrit says Some Dominicans Make False Declarations on Immigration Travel Documents & Government will be Taking Serious Corrective Actions

Thai Visa on an Indian Passport

Q95News - Following an announcement by the British High Commissioner for the Eastern Caribbean over concerns of breeches of immigration regulations being the main reason for the UK considering the introduction of visas for visitors from Dominica and St. Lucia, Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says he is urging Dominican citizens to be more honest when filling out applications to visit foreign countries. PM Skerrit says persons have to ensure that they provide true information to immigration officials.

He says too many times persons travel under the pretense that they are visiting friends and family when in fact they have the intention to work unlawfully. Mr. Skerrit says this causes unnecessary problems for his government and as such he will deal with the matter very seriously.
