by Rawle Nelson Aug 19 2008

The 2008 OECS Male Volleyball championships climaxed last evening with the bronze and gold medal places being contested. The championship, contested by five teams and held over a four-day period at the Marriott Dome, saw St. Kitts/Nevis capturing three of the seven special awards at stake.

After dropping one set in their first match in this year’s competition to win 3-1, St. Kitts/Nevis proved that they were true OECS champions when they thrashed St. Lucia 3-0 to take the title.
