The Dominica Diabetes Association has begun to observe a week of activities in an effort to celebrate World Diabetes Day on Saturday November 14 2009. Health officials were meeting late last to formulate plans to deal with the threat of the swine flu pandemic. In a press release last week the Ministry said there have been no reported cases of the flu on Dominica.
