Researchers Cut Storm Forecast

Weather forecasters at the Colorado State University have reduced their forecast for the 2009 Atlantic hurricane season. The research team on Tuesday predicted that ten tropical storms will form, with four strengthening into hurricanes. That’s down from their June prediction of 11 tropical storms with five hurricanes.
