One system was centered about 650 miles east of St. Lucia and Dominica and was moving northwest at 10 to 15 mph. A hurricane hunter airplane is scheduled to fly and gather data on Tuesday. Forecasters at the National Hurricane Center said the system has a more than 50 percent of forming into a tropical cyclone. They also are watching a second system, in the Eastern Atlantic, that has ”medium” potential to develop.
