Experience Dominica – The Nature Island: Dominica Vacations | Exotic Vacations | Honeymoon Destination

Dominica weekly is a personal weblog about the nature island of Dominica.

Everyone now is looking for that great adventure. Ecotourism and sustainable living is one of the hottest tropics off interest by adventure travelers around the world. It seems a lot of travelers are trying to get away from the big cities and try to connect with nature. And that’s just what this homeowner did when he built this Eco development home, truly a fascinating tropical experience which offers privacy, stunning beauty and an opportunity to be at one with nature.

The units are unique and crafted from local wood. Each has a spacious deck where the guest can sleep, relax and take in the stunning beauty of his surroundings. One of the units has an upper lookout deck. Each suite has its own shower, toilet and sink. The roofing is such that at night you will be bathed in moonlight as you sleep. From each suite there is a trail to the river where there are many bathing pools.

On one portion of land known as the “party peninsula” the owner has built a large deck with kitchen area where guests can take breakfast, lunch or dinner or simply enjoy a glass of wine as they take in this truly breathtaking experience.

If you are like me, and can’t live without electricity and plumping, you will be happy to know that the electricity is underground. Whether or not it’s hydro electricity I don’t know but if it would complement the whole idea of Sustainable Living. Also the water is pumped from one nearby rivers.

Every Man Has His Price 😀
I’m not sure whether this Eco-Development project is just one of the first around the island, but the homeowner has place this dream home on the market. This beautiful 24,162sq.ft. Sustainable living home will set you back a whopping 😮 US$ 250,000.00. For more information contact
