Dominica 2008 Calypso king - Dice Again

Congratulations to Dennison “Dice” Joseph for winning the 2008 Dominica Calypso Monarch last night at the Windsor Park Stadium. From the judges standpoint ‘Dice’ out classed the other nine Calypsonians.

Trivia - Last year Dice failed to become the only person in the history of Dominica to win the calypso crown four successive time because he made serious flaws in his on-stage presentation. This wasn’t the case this year. Dice bounced back stronger than ever and rolled off with the crowd.

Congratulations to Marah Walter - Miss Dominica 2008 for winning the National Queen Pageant last night at Windsor Park Stadium. She outclassed the six other beautiful contestants and won the hearts of the crowd. During her reign as Dominica’s National Queen, Marah will represent Dominica in other regional and international pageants.
