It is Guava season, so your chances of running into a Green Iguana or (Green Dragons, according to my wife) is much higher.

Green Iguanas love to eat Guavas. In fact, Green Iguanas only eat vegetables and fruits. Iguanas are some type of omnivorous lizards native to tropical areas, much like Dominica.

For the past few weeks, we’ve been running into this iguana who seems to be camping-out in one of the trees in the front yard. This time around I was able to capture it on camera. If I didn’t know better I would say that he was posing for the camera, and let letting me know that his my new neighbor.

With everything going on around the world, it makes me realize how lucky I am to be living on this beautiful island. Where my son can play and just be a kid. My heart goes out the 84 persons killed in France and their family. 🙁

Just goes to show – that we must enjoy life to the fullest with the ones you love; because you never know.
