Among my friends in Dominica are some men who I respect precisely because they behave as mature, responsible men should. They work hard and honestly; some at grueling farm labor, others at dangerous fishing. They do this to support themselves and their families as best they can. They treat others with kindness and are gentle in all things. Those with children work to build in them a respect for education and a solid work ethic as a way to get ahead. They live and teach respect for Dominica's beauty and its environment. They are never cruel to animals and would never cause dogs to fight for their sport. They are moderate in their speech. They treat women with proper gentlemanly respect. Men such as these become the mentors of boys.

Hi, I appreciate your effort to place personal development in a Caribbean background.
If you want, have a look at my preferred mentor who helped me to move from broke in Paris to financially independent and happily living on Dominica: Jim Rohn www.jimrohn.com
