Despite my hopeless decision to bet on the Phoenix Suns to win the Basketball game last night. Where phoenix lost by five points, but that didn’t cause me distress because I knew I was taking a gamble on Phoenix to win in San Antonio. And thats what life is all about, taking chances - you will not always win. As the saying goes “you win some and you loss some.”
So in that sense I was guaranteed victory simply by doing my taking a chance, regardless of how badly outmatched Phoenix was against the San Antonio Spurs :smile:.
The only way to win consistently at life is to regard every situation as a learning experience. That’s the only outcome you can really guarantee. If you make that your primary aim, losing becomes impossible.
Even though a game of basketball might seem an unfair comparison to life, but it’s the same principle at work. A bigger sting just delivers a more valuable lesson. Not every decision you make in your life will be the right one. Thats why you to need playing (making life choices) helps you learn.
