A group of amateur seismologists/geologists who are loosely affiliated with the international group (Public Seismic Network) in Dominica have taken upon themselves to noble task of starting a “People Seismic Network”.
Public Seismic Network purpose on Dominica is to build a constituency of well informed residents who not only know how to respond to catastrophic earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis and other geological hazards but support hazard mitigation programs in the community.
