Can't agree with you more on that. I clearly once at a dinner table an Indian friend commented on mine and a friend's nose, saying one can easily recognize you guys in India since you have a Muslim nose.

This was really strange!!!

Racism is anti-human  and irrational. But in many countries (including big ones like USA and Russia, countries I KNOW) it's still indirectly intentionally supported by the state itself. Why?

I agree that racism is evil. My people, Jews, were considered a race (not a religion) by the nazis. By their theories, our daughter (my wife is not of Jewish ancestry) would also be considered a member of the Jewish race. It is so damn stupid! People are just people. Character, and not skin color, matter.

It is disturbing how discriminatory people can be of one other based on their background, race, religion, etc.
I think growing up of African descent, in north America, I was constantly giving the idea that I was a minority and that things would be difficult for me... and maybe that's true, but looking at people all over the world it doesn't really look like it's any easier regardless of where a person lives or comes from.
I may have some subconscious ideas about others, that I didn't realize was there, for example I noticed a few years ago that I had some stereotypical views regarding "white" people that happens too often among "black" people.
I don't see why people are so afraid of migration either. Sure it's difficult & maybe scary at first and also adjustments have to be made but how else can people learn from each other and witness first hand other cultures and belief systems and begin to appreciate the beauty and diversity of the human race?
There's a lot of people in the world. and I guess countries.. governments want to control their populations and make structures they can control, which is why America labels immigrants who don't follow the migration process as illegal aliens... it's sad to see though, because throughout history, as you said, people have always traveled the world freely.
In all honesty.. do we have a right to create these restrictions on people who are not criminal etc. etc.? Have we forgotten who created the Earth that we are here for a very limited time and it doesn't belong to us at all?
This is definitely something to think about.
