Dominica Island Blog: Sharing Every Dominican Moment with the World

Ramblings From The Nature Paradise of Dominica

I know this story takes a unfamiliar twist to the kind of stories posted on Dominica weekly, but I do know that there are lots of parents who are always on the look out for good parenting ideas and baby information. Yesterday while browsing the net I came across BabyTV.com. My first impression was “wow! What will they think of next? About BabyTV.com

BabyTV.com is the first Internet-based television network dedicated to moms. BabyTV.com allows new and expectant parents to tune in to broadcast-quality streaming television, upload videos to share with the community, interact with live events, engage in e-commerce transactions, browse links on the web, and participate in BabyTV.com’s robust online community.

BabyTV.com has partnered with media companies like Oxygen (Television for women) and Alpha Mom to bring viewers 24/7 of informative and entertaining programming. BabyTv.com also offers moms (and dads) a library of articles written by leading industry experts that are available to user of the site. I guess this is better than going to the doctor office for a consultation and then dishing out 100.00 bucks. The articles are divided into four sections: preconception, Pregnancy, Baby, and Parenting.

I just hope BabyTV.com is still around when my girlfriend and I decide to take the next step by starting a family. I guess it’s never too early to learn about the different pregnancy stages and changes women go through pregnancy. After all we guys need all the help we can get, BabyTV.com offers an amazing amount of information.
