Ramblings From The Nature Paradise of Dominica

For reasons of argument and why I believe women are never front-runners, particularly in the political scene. Let’s look at Hilary Clinton and the whole US presidential elections for example. Below is brief biography written by an Op-Ed Contributor in the opinions column in the New York Times of Sen. Hillary Rotten Clinton.

THE woman in question became a lawyer after some years as a community organizer, married a corporate lawyer and is the mother of two little girls, ages 9 and 6. Herself the daughter of a white American mother and a black African father — in this race-conscious country, she is considered black — she served as a state legislator for eight years, and became an inspirational voice for national unity.

Be honest: Do you think this is the biography of someone who could be elected to the United States Senate? After less than one term there, do you believe she could be a viable candidate to head the most powerful nation on earth?

If you answered no to either question, you’re not alone. Gender is probably the most restricting force in American life, it seems the question is who must be in the kitchen or who could be in the White House. America is way down the list of countries electing women and it polarizes gender roles more than social equality. Which I believe also happens here in Dominica, where women are categorized because of their gender…oops did I say that out loud!

These are the reasons why I believe that Hilary will not win the US Presidential elections and, it all boils down to the fact that she’s a woman.

On Another Note: You’re maybe reading this post and wondering why I’m not writing about Barack Obama, seeing that Dominica is a predominantly black nation and Mr. Obama is considered black – but that’s another story all together. Share your opinion in the Comments.

Well Chris based on the blog you have on how not to impregnate your girlfriend and the “B” word you used to ensure the woman takes the pill answer this for me where does that place you in the role of WOMEN in our society?
