Saturday, Luida and I just decided to get on bus and go visit Dominica’s second town Portsmouth. Portsmouth has come a long way, and with Ross University School of Medicine as the town main source off income, the town has been transformed into one of the most vibrant towns in Dominica.
Every year Portsmouth welcomes about 400 new medical students every year. Which in turn attracted many Realtors in building new apartments buildings and to get cash in on the high demand for nearby campus housing. Ross University has also invested a large sum of money in Portsmouth, by expanding the campus by building new Conference Rooms and Medical Labs. The school has also bought over half of the rooms at Coconut Beach Hotel to serve as on-campus housing.

Ross University might not be recognized as one of the best Medical University, but when it comes for natural surroundings Ross University ranks # 1(in my opinion). Ross University and Dominica’s natural ambiance makes the perfect environment for any inspiring medical student. The only different at Ross University, will not find some of the amenities you will find in other medical schools
