Purely Dominica

Purely Dominica

From Rosalie bay Resort

In an effort to help spread the Christmas sheer, soon-to-be-opened Rosalie Bay Resort held its first ever Christmas party.

Instead of the usual annual Christmas staff party, the owners of the Resort and the staff members thought it would be better share the Christmas sheer with over a hundred kids from the nearby villages of Riviere Cyrique, Grand Fond, and Morne Jaune.

To bring authenticity to the party, Dominica’s very own Santa Claus took some time off his busy Xmas schedule to celebrate with children – it was so exciting to see the expressions on all the children faces when Santa drove to the party on a John Deere Go-Kart. 😀

That’s what the Holiday Season is all about, sharing with each other and that’s just what all the great folks at Rosalie Bay Resort did for all these kids. I was just happy to be there.

Rosalie Bay Resort Update

As for the resort, and when it plans to opens its doors to the public – the owners were anticipating opening the resort November past, but had to re-schedule the opening for another six months due to some major setbacks. But I must say, comparing to what I saw the last time I visited Rosalie Bay, the resort is no doubt on its final stages before the doors are open-up to the long guest waiting list.

Here are some scenes from the Christmas Party.
