There is an interesting discussion going on around the Caribbean – is football the new Cricket? Over on BBC Caribbean, Jack Warner, Vice president of the International Football Federation (FIFA) believes that test cricket is dead in the Caribbean.

Mr. Warner feels that football has taken over from cricket and that it has a more promising future. He is also of the view that twenty-twenty is the way to go.

Ranked at 124th in the world by FIFA, Barbados greatest soccer success was reaching the semifinal round of qualifying for the 2002 Japan/Korea World Cup, where it Stunted Costa Rica but ended up finishing last. Windsor Park Stadium By Night.

With all the excitement from the ICC Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean, Education and Sports Minister Vince Henderson announced at the opening of Windsor Park Stadium on March 23. There were rumors that Dominica would be hosting some ICC Cricket practice games. But I guess this felt through like everything else in Dominica. Thanks to the People Republic of China for building one of the best sport Stadium in Caribbean. What’s my Opinion. 🙂
