Purely Dominica

Purely Dominica

Liuda has only two more weekends remaining in Dominica before she goes back home to Russia. So there was no way we were going to stay in the apartment and watch this beautiful Saturday go by without doing something. The last time we visited Portsmouth or as I say Ross University town, we love it so much we decide to go there again.

Just like our on first visit, we camp-out in front the Coconut Beach Hotel restaurant under the coconut trees which over looks the beach. A great place to just seat and listen to the wave’s race up the sandy shore or you can choose to just read a book. Just a great place to get away from it all and it appears I’m not the only one who thinks so. Many Ross University medical students frequently visit the restaurant to get a quick beat or to seat in a quiet area. I wish every Saturday should be relaxing has today, but unfortunately in the real world it doesn’t work that way.

Here are some pictures of what I consider to be the perfect island Saturday. Enjoy!

And Portsmouth is the home of the only Indian Restaurant on the island, as far as I know. Doesn’t get any better than good beaches and Indian food….
