Carnival in Dominica is just a months away and that means “More Fete Less Twaka†for all the Dominicans at home and those returning to join in the reunion celebration. From what I’ve been hearing on the streets, 2008 Dominica carnival is going to be of the biggest fete 😎 the island have ever seen.
Over at Dominica Carnival dot com the guys are running a poll asking folks: Will you be there for Reunion 08? So far 81% of Dominicans said yes they will be in Dominica next year, while 10% said no and the other 10% is not sure. What about you? Post your comments on whether or not you will be at Dominica Carnival 2008.

this is Marlon from the VI representing the Birmingham family up in tete morne. I can’t wait for carnival either hopefully I will get to finally see it for myself. Big up to Hermaine, Derick, Kendra, Merlin, Asay, and the whole crew. We’ll see you guys soon. Holla back!!!
hi I would like to know where i can find information on the 2008 ms dominica, contestant pic ..bios etc, or anything to do with carnival.pls provide us with the info for those of us who are not in Dominica. Thanks in advance.
To be honest Sakalina, there is very little talk about the carnival queen contestant. I can remember hearing on the radio that the contestants where being launched in their respective villages, but for some reason…this year there is no hype like last year. Maybe when Christmas is over you will begin to hear more about carnival… but for now everything is about Xmas. Check -out Dominicacarnival.com
they’ve the names of the contestants and the villages they’re from.
Can’t wait to quench my burning sensation of Carnival 08. Memories of last year still reign in my mind as clear as a bell. Carnival in Iraq is certainly not the same as carnival in Roseau and Grand-bay thanks to the Internet. While gunfire and explosions were heard in my immediate surroundings the sweet sounds of calypso and carnival activities were enough to shadow my fright. 2008, bye to Iraq and here I come Dominica. Even while station in Fort Knox Kentucky, my heart is always in Dominica. Once more thanks to the Internet I am so far yet I feel so close.
Benoit- Grand bay massive!!!!!!!!
Really looking foward I will be certainly in for 2008
