The Dominica Carnival Queens Contestants were were officially presented to the Dominican public at LIME Creole in the Park 2009.
The seven beautiful contestants are (left to right) Clarissa Nicholls of Carib Territory, Marcia Baptiste of Portsmouth, Kristelle Fagan of Kings Hill, Valdie De Jean of Morne Prosper representing Roseau, Shama St. Hilaire of Pichelin/Grand Bay, Dana Augustine of Paix Bouche, and Amy Polydore, of Riviere Cyrique.
The carnival queen pageant is carded for February 12.
Who will be the next Carnival Queen of Dominica? Your guess is as good as mine.

The young lady from Kingshill Kristelle Fagan demonstrated an intriguing attitude and poise as far as I noticed and expect her confidence and easy manner with words to allow her to captivate the audience and bring out a great show. The other exotic looking young lady Clarissa Nicholls also deepy impressed me with merely her delicate and graceful temperament. For example her disposition and posture, the way she addressed the crowd, spoke,held her head. Thou they may be vying for Queen I couldnt help but think she carried herself much like a princess or queen in the making. Causing me to think she is a contestant with the ability to capture the ability of even passer by and hold them in her trance till shes done
Ms Fagan did the best,, she carry her self like a queen, her posture was very well groomed i love her sense of humor and the way she carry herself,, christel sweetie you will win without anyone given answer towards your talent,, because you have so much talent not forgetting your beauty you will make very far,,, wish you all the best sweetie.
ala…….yes she is pretty in her way but all u doh have to stress on it so nuh because u knw she not the hottest. when you have women like marcia on board the compairing wouldn make sense cuz marcia has it in every way!
