Passion alone is enough, but it requires focused direction, and that directions must come from three other areas within you: your purpose, your talents and strengths, and your needs.
First, purpose and passion go hand in hand. If you’ve no idea what’s your life purpose, your passion will not one day just come to you. When passion and purpose steers in the same direction, it means you fall in love with the path of service. I’m still searching to find what’s my true passion is, but while I haven’t found what is my passion I’m enjoying the ride life have presented me. And when you lease expect it you’re already doing what you love.
Secondly, passion must be blended with talent. Passion can drive you pretty far in life, but without talent your passion can only get so far. There are many people who a passionate but yet incompetent, and their passion aren’t sufficient to save them. I know so many people who got really excited about an idea but couldn’t follow through. The good news about talents is that you can strengthen talents – you can educate yourself to learn new knowledge and skills. But the ultimate goal here is to discover where your greatest talents lie within you.
Thirdly, passion must be blended with need. And I’m going to tell you why, you have to direct you passion in such a way that you’ll be able to feed yourself. The bills at the end of the month is no delusional game, it’s real. But if you master the blending of passion, purpose and talent, it will not be too difficult to satisfy your needs…Remember is about the ride.
