Are you tired of having two cell phones, one for the US (or Europe) and another for Dominica, or of using one cell phone but enduring outrageous roaming charges? The solution is at hand. Simply go to iUnlock dot com and have your phone unlocked so that it will accept SIM cards from multiple cellular phone service providers.
As things are, each provider buys phones from manufacturers and then sells the phones to the public, and they specify that the manufacturer lock the phone’s firmware so that it will work only on that provider’s network. But iUnlock will, for a reasonable charge, unlock your phone.
This is nice, because if you if you have a phone that you like, you can have it unlocked and then need only buy a SIM card (Cable and Wireless charges EC$20 for a SIM card) to use on another provider’s network.
In years past, the US telephone monopoly required customers to lease phones from it. But since the 1970s, one could purchase a phone and use it. Phone companies still charge lessees $10 per month or more, but one can purchase a phone for about $10 and save $110 per year. Unlocking a cell phone is like that – save your money!
