SpaceballApple Ceo Steve Jobs is a great Storyteller,If he were a fiction writer, he would stand toe to toe with the likes of John Grisham and Tom Clancy.Spaceball

I know this post is no where close to the regular post you would read on Dominica Week, but I just couldn’t help not writting on Macworld 2007 seeing that I an Apple enthusiast. Today’s performance at the Macworld keynote was not different.Apple reloading their website and traded SMS messages everyone trying to find out more detail about apple new iphone. But the real storyl of the day came at the very end of his keynote address

“From this day forward we’re going to be known as Apple, Inc. We’ve dropped the computer from our name.? And then he quoted ice skating legend Wayne Gretzky. “‘I skate to where the puck is going to be, not to where it’s been.’ That’s what we try to do at Apple.?

From this point forward, is a consumer electronics company, a mobile handset maker – one that also makes computer hardware and software as well. Like the iPod, the iPhone may feed off the computer, but it can function fully without any dependence on a desktop and will also be a Wi-Fi enabled device, should be capable enough to do direct downloads from the iTunes store, no desktop necessary.(critics are uncertian and believes its not possible).

Apple is revolutionizing the phone market, allowing consumers to surf, email, browse, iChat, music and watch videos on the phone. Those I don’t believe that the iphone will replace notebooks or desktop in the near future but it will at lease decrease on dependence on our PC’s.
